Brothers of Texas Alpha,
This December for our philanthropy event, Texas Alpha will be hosting a Christmas toy drive benefiting the local Children’s Miracle Network at the University Medical Center in Lubbock. In addition to hosting the toy drive event, Texas Alpha has set a goal of raising $5000 to donate to the CMN. All of the money raised will be used to purchase pediatric medical equipment, toys, and other items to help this great organization. The active chapter would greatly appreciate the support of the alumni as we take on our duty to service.
In the Spring of 2015, Sigma Alpha Epsilon of Texas Tech University graciously partnered up with Ragan’s HOPE, a nonprofit organization, that helps families in need. Our chapter was able to raise $2,500 in order to help an extremely ill little boy, Rolando. The check was presented on behalf of Ragan’s HOPE to Rolando’s family.
In in the Fall of 2015, we partnered with Adopt-a-highway, have successfully completed multiple cleanup sessions. We are all about help out our community as much as possible and that is something we look to improve on as the year progresses.
